Envisioned as the “Gateway to the City”, ADG prepared the aesthetic design for the grade separation bridge. Utilizing cultural and historical thematic elements, the bridge offers a dramatic and inviting entry to the Civic Center of the City. In addition to the decorative bridge adornments, the project included design and construction documents for the parkways and medians that included accent boulders, meandering cobble accents, hardscape, and walkways, accented by a drought tolerant and native planting plan with water wise irrigation.
