Architerra Design Group prepared the construction documents for the 5-acre "active" park. We designed an onsite restroom building, parking lot, bicycle parking area, connection to interior paseo trail system for pedestrian and bicycle access, dual age tot lot facilities, individual use picnic tables as well as group picnic areas with tables, a large open turf area for soccer overlay, a connection point at the southwest corner of park to the Butterfield Ranch Road multi-use trail system, interior park walkway system to access park use areas, and entry monumentation for park entrance per the City of Chino Hills City Identification Program.
Additionally, we further refined the selected concept plan by developing the hardscape, site amenities and landscape areas in CAD format. We Worked with the Civil Engineer’s rough grading plan, and prepared a design development grading plan for the park indicating proposed grades, drainage swales, berming, and hardscape grades to both verify ADA accessibility and communicate our design intent to the Client’s Civil Engineer.
